Air Arabia Group Chief Executive Officer Adel Al Ali has received the Executive Leadership for Africa and the Middle East award at the Airline Strategy Awards 2026 in London, recognising his contribution to aviation growth and transformation across the region.
Organised by FlightGlobal in partnership with Korn Ferry,
the 22nd edition of the awards honours outstanding airline leadership and
strategic achievements.
Since founding Air Arabia in 2003, Al Ali has pioneered the
low-cost carrier model in the Arab world, expanding affordable air travel to
millions of passengers.
Under his leadership, Air Arabia has grown into the region’s
largest budget airline, serving more than 200 destinations across 50-plus
countries.
The award follows a record 2025 performance, with AED 1.8
billion ($490 million) in net profit and continued network expansion, including
