The company, in collaboration with the
Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA), organised a special reception
at Bahrain International Airport to welcome the Romanian visitors.
The event was followed by a coordinated
transfer to their hotels, managed by Visit Bahrain’s professional operations
team.
Ali Amralla, Chief Executive Officer of
Visit Bahrain, stated: “We are delighted to welcome this first group of
visitors from Romania, marking a significant milestone in our ongoing strategy
to open new tourism markets across Eastern Europe. The success of this
initiative demonstrates the growing appeal and diversity of Bahrain’s tourism
offerings, which continue to attract tourists seeking authentic cultural and
leisure experiences.”
Amralla added: “The demand we have
witnessed has exceeded our expectations, reflecting Bahrain’s strong
positioning as a distinctive destination in the region. In light of this
success, we are pleased to announce the addition of an extra flight from Romania
to accommodate the increasing number of visitors during the current tourism
season, which will continue until May next year.”
The CEO of Visit Bahrain also expressed his
gratitude to the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority for its continued
support for private sector initiatives, noting that such collaboration has been
instrumental in achieving this success, and emphasised that these efforts
contribute directly to advancing the objectives of Bahrain’s national tourism
strategy and play a vital role in driving the growth of the Kingdom’s economy. -TradeArabia News Service
