Saudi Arabia records 52pc growth in tourist lodge registrations in Q3 2026

CONSUMER NEWS

Saudi Arabia’s tourism sector recorded strong growth in commercial registrations during 2026, with registrations for tourist lodges rising 52% year on year to 18,115 by the end of the third quarter, according to the Ministry of Commerce.

The figure compares with 11,900 registrations during the same period in 2025.

Commercial registrations for tourist accommodation facilities also increased by 37% to 18,956, up from 13,819 in the corresponding period last year.

The ministry said the growth reflects expanding business opportunities in the tourism sector, supporting commercial activity and the development of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

It added that the expansion would help businesses capitalise on Saudi Arabia’s diverse tourism attractions. -TradeArabia News Service
