Saudi Commerce Ministry recalls 2,888 Lucid Air vehicles

CONSUMER NEWS

The Saudi Ministry of Commerce has announced the recall of 2,888 Lucid Air vehicles from model years 2023-2026 due to a defect in the external lighting electrical circuit.

The fault may cause overheating, potentially resulting in brake light or headlight failure and increasing the risk of fire or accidents, a Saudi Press Agency (SPA) report said.

The ministry urged owners of affected vehicles to check whether their vehicle identification number (VIN) is included in the recall by visiting ‏https://Recalls.sa.

Owners were also advised to contact authorised dealer Lucid Motors at the toll-free number 8001111030 to receive a free over-the-air (OTA) software update.—TradeArabia News Service
