Jazeera Airways, in collaboration with the Embassy of Poland in Kuwait and the Małopolska Tourism Organisation, has celebrated the launch of its first-ever winter flights from Kuwait to Krakow, Poland, aimed at boosting tourism and strengthening ties between the two countries.
The airline will
operate twice-weekly direct flights between Kuwait and Krakow from 16 December
2026 to 6 February 2027, offering travellers convenient and affordable options
for winter holidays, festive getaways and family trips.
The launch event
highlighted Krakow’s cultural heritage, winter attractions and growing appeal
as a European holiday destination.
One of Poland’s
oldest cities, Krakow is known for its medieval architecture, festive markets,
UNESCO-listed Historic Centre and Wawel Royal Castle.
The city also
provides access to Zakopane and the Tatra Mountains, popular for skiing,
snow-covered landscapes and winter activities.
The event also
highlighted Kuwait’s growing winter tourism offering, supported by sporting, cultural
and entertainment events attracting visitors from across the GCC and beyond.
These include the
Gulf Bank Marathon, for which Jazeera Airways serves as Official Airline
Partner, the Super Cup and various concerts.
Combined with
pleasant winter weather, diverse cuisine and local hospitality, these
attractions are helping strengthen Kuwait’s position as a regional tourism
destination, supporting local businesses and encouraging visitor spending.
The new route is
expected to provide greater travel flexibility while enhancing connectivity and
promoting tourism exchanges between Kuwait and Poland during the winter season.
Michał Cholewa,
Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to the State of Kuwait said: "The
introduction of Jazeera Airways' winter flights to Krakow represents an
important step in bringing Poland and Kuwait closer together. Poland offers a

our country's most celebrated destinations. These direct flights will provide
an excellent opportunity for travellers from Kuwait to experience Poland's
unique winter charm, while encouraging greater tourism, cultural exchange and
stronger connections between our two countries. We welcome Jazeera Airways'
continued efforts to enhance connectivity and look forward to further
strengthening our bilateral relationship."
