Riyadh Air has launched direct flights between King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh and Suvarnabhumi International Airport in Bangkok, strengthening air connectivity between Saudi Arabia and Thailand.

The new route marks the airline’s 12th destination since its inaugural flight in June 2026 and supports Saudi Vision 2030 goals by promoting trade, tourism and cultural ties between the two countries.

Riyadh Air will initially operate three weekly flights to Bangkok, increasing to daily service from November 9.

Tony Douglas, Riyadh Air CEO, emphasised that the launch of the direct route between the two capitals underscores the airline’s commitment to advancing the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 by strengthening trade, tourism, and cultural ties between Saudi Arabia and Thailand. -TradeArabia News Service
