Saudi Arabia's National Water Company (NWC) has completed a water distribution network project in Al Shanan Governorate in the Hail region, expanding water services to communities including Al Matarfiyah and the village of Ray Takrib, the company said.

The project includes more than 21 km of water pipelines, providing service to more than 857 beneficiaries through 175 new connections, NWC said.

NWC said the project is aimed at improving the efficiency of the water network, expand coverage to previously unserved areas, strengthen infrastructure and support water conservation as part of the kingdom's Vision 2030 development programme.

NWC indicated that it has begun accepting customer requests from Al Matarfiyah and the village of Ray Takrib to connect through the company’s online portal, e.nwc.com.sa, and its digital channels, emphasising the need to attach all required documents and information to complete the application, it added.-TradeArabia News Service
