The Saudi Arabia General Directorate of Passports has confirmed its readiness to serve travellers attending the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025, scheduled to take place from December 1 to 18.

The directorate stated that it has reinforced the Salwa Port with qualified personnel and modern technical equipment to ensure seamless entry and exit procedures, reported SPA.

The directorate urged citizens to verify the validity of their passports before departing the Kingdom. Passports must be valid for at least three months for travel to Arab countries and six months for travel to other destinations.

The directorate also stressed that travellers to Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries are required to carry either their passport or national ID card.

The directorate affirmed that family registers and digital IDs on the Absher and Tawakkalna platforms do not qualify their holders for international travel.
