Oman Air announced the resumption of its services between Muscat and Zurich, Switzerland, in the summer season of 2026 (May-September), noting that the step aims to meet the rising demand for travel to this destination.
The company pointed
out that it will operate three direct flights per week from Muscat to Zurich on
Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, using Boeing 737-8 aircraft.
The programme
complements Oman Air’s schedule of winter flights currently being operated by
using Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft, at a rate of up to 6 flights per week
(from November 2025 to April 2026). The network of Oman Air covers 11 European
destinations.
Mike Rutter, Oman
Air’s Chief Commercial Officer, said that expanding Oman Air services to Zurich
reflects the company’s commitment to meet the needs of travellers and offer
them smoother and more flexible travel options.
Rutter observed that
Switzerland is one of Europe's key markets and serves as an integral part of
Oman Air’s growing network. -TradeArabia News Service
