Alba Sports Festival to see widespread participation
THE Alba Sports Festival will be an exceptional event embodying the spirit of challenge and sports creativity.
This was emphasised by the festival’s general co-ordinator Hussain Ali Al Qubaity.
The third edition of the festival is scheduled to take place from January 31 to February 1.
Al Qubaity noted that this year the festival aims to enhance the values of sports competitiveness with widespread participation from local and international sports academies.
He explained that this edition will feature new and unique sports games in addition to the tournaments that achieved remarkable success in previous editions.
This reflects the festival’s growth and its continuation as a prominent sports event in the kingdom.
Al Qubaity added: “The Alba Sports Festival represents our commitment to enhancing the sports movement in the kingdom, supporting sports academies and attracting the largest possible audience from diverse groups.
“We invite everyone to attend and participate in the Alba Sports Festival, which combines entertainment with high-level sports competition. We are confident that the third edition will be exceptional by all standards and leave an unforgettable mark on everyone.”
On another note, media committee head Jassim Mohammed confirmed that the media aspect will receive significant attention to highlight the event both locally and internationally.
He mentioned that the media committee has developed a comprehensive plan, including coverage through local newspapers and social media to ensure the widest possible reach.
Additionally, a fully equipped media centre will be provided to support coverage efforts and facilitate the work of journalists.
