Nissan award for YK Almoayyed

AN award has been presented to YK Almoayyed & Sons (YKA) by Nissan Motors for its outstanding stockyard management.

The sole distributor of Nissan vehicles in Bahrain has been awarded the third rank in stockyard management audit by the Japanese multinational automobile manufacturer.

“This accolade highlights the commitment of YKA to provide its customers with the highest standard in a pre-delivery product through meticulous processes and best practices,” said a YKA spokesperson.

Car stockyards are pivotal in the automotive industry, offering centralised locations for the efficient storage and movement of vehicles. They are also crucial for managing extensive inventories and ensuring vehicles are readily accessible for transportation, inspection and maintenance.

“Our vehicle stockyards provide significant benefits by streamlining operations and reducing storage and handling costs. The expertise and efficiency of well-trained staff in quickly locating specific vehicles and delivering superior customer service are fundamental to our success.

“At Nissan Bahrain, we implement robust inventory management systems, optimise vehicle layout and organisation, uphold stringent quality control measures and ensure seamless logistics co-ordination.

“Serving as a central hub, it connects various departments while also facilitating a smooth flow of information and vehicles within the company,” the spokesperson added.

Effective yard management systems significantly enhance interdepartmental co-ordination, leading to greater efficiency and customer satisfaction.

“Our organisation maximises productivity and profitability by maintaining high standards of safety, security and operational efficiency within the stockyard.”
