IRAQI Oil ministry officials are expect to sign a contract soon to build eight of 30 planned oil storage tanks in Basra the director general of the State Company for Oil Projects said. The new oil storage facility will be built on the site of a previous facility of 16 storage tanks destroyed during the Iran-Iraq war Ahmed al-Shamma said. Those tanks were never rebuilt.
