The UAE Federal Customs Authority (FCA) and Dubai Customs have signed an agreement for delivery of inspection devices to Dubai Customs in its quest to implement the latest and best inspection and control standards. Vietnam will pump an estimated 15.47 million tonnes of crude oil or 339 506 barrels per day (bpd) in the first 11 months of this year up 6.1 per cent from the same period last year the General Statistics Office (GSO) said. However the government department said crude production in November would drop 6.7 per cent to 1.38 million tonnes (337 180 bpd) and revised down October s production to 1.46 million tonnes (345 219 bpd) from a previous estimate of 1.48 million tonnes. In releasing the data in its monthly report the GSO gave no reason for the decline in November s output but it comes in the context of lower world prices for what is a strategic export for Vietnam.
