L&T wins engineering contract for 2.5 Mtpa Oman green iron facility

Indian construction and engineering conglomerate Larsen and Toubro (L&T) said one of its key units has been awarded the front-end engineering and design (FEED) contract by Singapore-based Meranti Green Steel (MGS) for a major green iron project in Oman with a 2.5 million tonnes per annum capacity. The appointment marks a significant milestone in the development of one of the region s largest green steel projects as the company advances toward a Final Investment Decision (FID). Meranti Green Steel signed up L&T as its project delivery partner for the FEED stage of the plant following a competitive process with world-class firms said the Singaporean company in a statement. Wood secures long-term Aramco engineering deal

Wood has secured a five-year Long-Term Agreement (LTA) with Aramco with an option to extend by three years to support major in-kingdom capital projects in Saudi Arabia. The contract will see Wood deliver engineering design and project management services across Aramco s oil and gas refining petrochemical and lower-carbon hydrogen initiatives aligned with its long-term energy strategy. The partnership builds on more than 30 years of collaboration between Wood and Aramco. In 2024 Wood also won a major engineering services contract for Aramco s Southern and Northern Areas gas increments project aimed at boosting gas production capacity in the Kingdom. WoodKSS wins engineering contract with Tengizchevroil

WoodKSS Wood s incorporated joint venture in Kazakhstan has secured a new engineering and project support contract with Tengizchevroil one of the world s largest onshore producing oil fields. Building on more than 20 years of partnership with Tengizchevroil the contract follows a master services agreement established in 2019.
