Exhibition World Bahrain (EWB) has signed a two-year Diamond Sponsorship agreement with UFI, the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, securing the association’s highest sponsorship tier and exclusive representation among Middle East-based venues and service providers.
The agreement was
signed during the 93rd UFI Global Congress, hosted by EWB from November 2-5.
It will provide EWB
with international exposure across UFI’s network of exhibition organisers,
venue operators and industry partners, alongside access to global events,
research, education and industry programmes.
The partnership
includes visibility at major events, including the UFI Global CEO Summit and
regional conferences, as well as promotion through digital platforms, industry
publications and social media channels.
The collaboration aims
to strengthen Bahrain’s international industry partnerships, support growth in
its business events sector and reinforce the Kingdom’s position as a
competitive destination for international exhibitions and conferences.
Sara Buhejji, CEO of
the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) and Chairperson of
Exhibition World Bahrain (EWB), commented: "Becoming a UFI Diamond
Sponsor is an important step in strengthening Bahrain’s international standing
in the global exhibitions and business events industry. It allows us to
deepen our engagement with industry leaders, build lasting relationships and
showcase what Bahrain offers as a host for exhibitions, conferences and major
business events. Signing this agreement while we welcome the global
exhibitions community to Bahrain for the UFI Global Congress makes the occasion
particularly meaningful."
Chris Skeith OBE, CEO
and Managing Director of the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry
(UFI) said: "We are delighted to welcome EWB as a UFI Diamond
Sponsor. This partnership reflects a shared commitment to the growth of
the global exhibitions industry and to stronger connections across our
international community. Bahrain has demonstrated its ambition and
capability as a host for international exhibitions and business events, and we
look forward to working closely with BTEA and EWB to create new opportunities
for engagement, knowledge exchange and collaboration." -TradeArabia News Service
