Oman Duty Free signs MoU with China Duty Free International

CONSUMER NEWS

Oman Duty Free has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with China Duty Free International (CDFI) to strengthen cooperation in duty-free markets and travel retail.

The agreement was signed by Sayyid Nasr bin Badr Al Busaidi, CEO of Oman Duty Free, and Dou Xiaoqiong, Managing Manager of CDFI, on the sidelines of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik’s state visit to China.

The partnership aims to enhance Oman Duty Free’s business operations, attract leading international brands to Oman and support its global expansion through the exchange of expertise in store operations, product management, supply chains and franchising.

Growing investment interest from China Tourism Group, CDFI’s parent company, is also expected to support Oman’s tourism sector.

The partnership will explore opportunities across travel, hospitality and retail, helping position Oman as an attractive destination and encourage more Chinese tourists to visit the Sultanate. -TradeArabia News Service
