Egis, a leading global architectural, consulting, construction engineering, operations and mobility services firm, said it has been officially registered as a Saudi Civil Defence approved consultant by the General Directorate of Civil Defence (Salamah).
This accreditation authorises the firm to provide specialist fire and life safety services for public and private sector clients, including fire risk assessment, prescriptive and performance-based solutions, and compliance review, all in alignment with Civil Defence regulations and the Saudi Building Code, according to a statement from Egis.
With this, the company will be able to support clients across the full project lifecycle - from the pre-concept stage through to final authority approval and construction supervision.

With this recognition, Egis becomes one of a select group of firms authorised to review fire strategy and life safety alongside the wider design. This gives clients across the kingdom a single, accountable partner for both design excellence and Civil Defence compliance, said its top official.
