The countdown to the December 11 opening of Guggenheim Abu Dhabi has entered its next chapter with the launch of ticket sales for admission to the new museum.
General admission tickets to Guggenheim Abu Dhabi cost AED70. Complimentary admission is available for visitors under 18, UAE students, and seniors aged 60 and above. Reduced admission rates are also available for eligible groups.
Through its collection, commissions, exhibitions and public programmes, the museum will offer new perspectives on modern and contemporary art; deepening understanding, expanding perspectives and offering new ways for people to engage with the art of our time.
Designed by the late Pritzker Architecture Prize Laureate Frank Gehry, the museum’s architecture is an integral part of the experience, with expansive galleries, interconnected spaces and extensive outdoor exhibition areas creating new possibilities for how art can be encountered. The building, located on Saadiyat Island, features 28 galleries across the interior, which is connected by a central atrium and 10 sculptural cones.
