CONSTRUCTION NEWS

The Middle East Coatings Show will kick off on September 28 at its new home in Dubai Exhibition Centre, Expo City, bringing together more than 5,000 manufacturers, raw material suppliers, distributors, buyers, technical specialists, and coatings professionals from across regional and international markets to connect, discover new products, and explore business opportunities.

The regional paints and coatings market is forecast to grow steadily through 2031, driven by continued investment in construction and infrastructure, said the organisers dmg events, citing industry data.

The Middle East paints and coatings market is currently valued at $5.98 billion and is, according to Mordor Intelligence, forecast to record a compound annual growth rate of 3.85% between 2026 and 2031 to reach approximately $7.22 billion.

Continued investment across construction, infrastructure, and related industries is supporting demand for coatings products and solutions across the region, it stated.

The Middle East Coatings Show, which runs until September 30, will see the Mena region’s paints manufacturing and coatings community connect and discover new products, and explore business opportunities.

On showcase at the expo will be a range of products spanning the coatings value chain - from raw materials, chemicals and additives to laboratory, production, testing and application equipment.

With more than 300 registered exhibitors from some 20 countries, attendees will have the opportunity to meet suppliers, explore technical developments, and build new business relationships, stated the organisers.

Among the confirmed exhibitors are UAE-based representatives including Petrochem, Wacker Chemicals, Reda Chemicals, Tawazon and Trychem, alongside international exhibitors such as Germany’s Evonik Industries and BYK Chemie, ABC Chemical Exports from India, and Solvochem from the Netherlands.

Paddy O’Neill, Associate Vice President of the Coatings Group, dmg events, said: "We are delighted to welcome the coatings community back to Dubai for the Middle East Coatings Show as we open an exciting new chapter for the event at the Dubai Exhibition Centre in Expo City Dubai."

"For more than 30 years, the show has been a key platform for the region’s industry, bringing together manufacturers, suppliers, and buyers to build relationships share expertise, discover new solutions, and drive business forwards. The new venue marks an important milestone in the show’s evolution, and we look forward to building on its strong legacy, creating even greater opportunities for the industry, and continuing to grow the event in the years ahead," he added.

Running alongside the exhibition, ChemTalks will provide two days of focused technical and commercial presentations, giving exhibitors and industry specialists an opportunity to share new products, formulation expertise, and market-led solutions.

Also taking place is an interactive experience entitled Colour Mixology, developed in collaboration with Trycolors. Inviting attendees to experiment with digital paint mixing and colour exploration for the opportunity to win prizes, the feature will add a hands-on element to the visitor experience.-TradeArabia News Service
