Etihad Guest and Al Etihad Payments have signed an agreement at Arabian Travel Market in Dubai to introduce exclusive benefits for Etihad Guest members holding Jaywan Royal cards.
The deal builds on a
Memorandum of Understanding signed last October and follows Etihad’s move last
month to become the first airline globally to accept Jaywan as a payment method
on etihad.com.
Etihad Guest is also
the first airline loyalty programme to offer dedicated benefits to Jaywan
cardholders.
Eligible Jaywan Royal
cardholders will receive up to 10% off Etihad-operated flights when booking
Comfort or Deluxe fares directly through etihad.com.
They will also receive
Priority Access in Abu Dhabi, covering check-in, boarding and baggage services.
To qualify, members
must be logged into their Etihad Guest account and pay for eligible Comfort or
Deluxe tickets using a Jaywan Royal card.
The benefits are
subject to applicable terms and conditions.
Mark Potter, Managing Director Etihad Guest
at Etihad Airways, said: “This agreement recognises loyalty across both brands,
rewarding that loyalty with real value on every booking. Offering exclusive
fares on Comfort and Deluxe, and a smoother, faster experience at the airport.
It's a practical addition to the guest journey, and one we know matters to our
UAE-based members.”
Andrea Cianchetti, Chief Products Officer
at Al Etihad Payments, said: “ This agreement builds directly on the momentum
we created with Etihad in August when the agreement between the parties was
finalised, and on the MoU we signed together last October. Jaywan was designed
to carry real value for our UAE customers, and this partnership with Etihad
brings meaningful value to the Jaywan Royal proposition, delivering exactly
what cardholders want – earning tangible travel benefits simply for using the
payment method built for them. We are truly excited for this launch and look
forward to continuing to grow this partnership with Etihad.” -TradeArabia News Service
