UAE-based B2B cargo airline SolitAir has launched freight services to Ghana via Accra International Airport, expanding its African network to 21 destinations across 17 countries and providing coverage to more than 30% of the continent.
The new route strengthens SolitAir’s presence in West Africa following the recent launch of services to Nigeria, connecting the UAE with growing and underserved markets.
The 6,250-kilometre Accra–Al Maktoum International Airport route increases cargo capacity for Ghana’s key exports, including gold, foodstuff and perishables.

The Ghana service takes SolitAir’s global network to more than 60 destinations across over 40 countries in the Middle East, Asia, Africa and Europe.
The carrier operates seven Boeing 737-800BCF freighters, each capable of carrying 20 tonnes, from its 20,440-square-metre hub at Dubai World Central.
SolitAir aims to expand its fleet to 20 aircraft by the end of 2027 and
