dnata, a global air and travel services provider, has upgraded its existing cargo control centre into a new Cargo Integrated Command Centre (CICC) in Dubai, bringing together technology, operational data and decision-making tools to improve cargo operations across the UAE.
Located at dnata’s Dubai International Airport (DXB) hub,
the CICC provides a centralised view of cargo activities across DXB and Dubai
World Central-Al Maktoum International (DWC).
The centre enables teams to anticipate operational
requirements, coordinate resources and respond quickly to changing conditions.
The CICC oversees an operation that handled more than one
million tonnes of cargo, 189,000 flight movements and 46,000 truck movements
during the 2025-26 financial year.
At the centre is dnata’s internally developed operational
dashboard, which consolidates critical information and refreshes every 10
seconds. It draws data from the company’s One Cargo management system, its
Appointment and Dock Management system and Calogi, dnata’s cargo community
platform.
The integrated systems provide visibility across cargo
facilities, truck movements and landside activities, helping teams identify
bottlenecks and coordinate responses across the network.

The CICC forms part of dnata’s wider investment in digitalisation. Recent initiatives include autonomous drones for warehouse inventory, achieving more than 99% shipment-tracking accuracy, and a centralised cargo screening control room developed with Dubai Police.
