flydubai welcomed more than 500 UAE nationals from across the seven emirates to its UAE National Careers Open Day at the airline’s Dubai campus, highlighting strong interest in aviation careers and professional development opportunities.
The event brought
together Emirati students, graduates and professionals to explore career
pathways and specialised training programmes across the airline.
Participants met
flydubai’s recruitment and talent development teams and learned about
opportunities including the Engineering Apprentice Programme (AMEL), Flight
Dispatcher Programme, Ab Initio and Second Officer pilot programmes, and UAE
National Graduate Programmes.
The strong turnout
reflects growing interest among UAE nationals in pursuing long-term careers in
aviation. The event also underscored flydubai’s commitment to developing
national talent and supporting the UAE’s broader efforts to strengthen Emirati
participation in the aviation sector.
Nasser Binkherbash,
Senior Vice President of Human Resources at flydubai, said: “We were very
pleased with the strong attendance and positive feedback we received at our UAE
National Careers Open Day. Welcoming more than 500 Emiratis from all seven
emirates who are interested in exploring a career with flydubai demonstrates
the enthusiasm and ambition of our national talent and their interest in being
part of the future of aviation in the UAE.”
Binkherbash added: “Developing
our national workforce remains a priority as flydubai continues to grow, and we
are committed to creating meaningful career pathways, supported by structured
training and development programmes, that enable UAE nationals to build
successful long-term careers across our organisation. We look forward to
welcoming more Emirati talent to flydubai and seeing them play an increasingly
important role in supporting our future growth.” -TradeArabia News Service
