Paperworld Middle East will return to Dubai World Trade Centre from October 13–15, providing a dedicated business platform where international manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers and buyers will shape procurement and sourcing strategies for the year ahead.
Now in its 15th edition, Paperworld Middle East has established itself as the region's definitive trade platform for the paper and stationery industry, connecting international supply with buyers from across the Middle East and fast-growing markets spanning Africa, Australasia, the Americas and Europe.
The global paper and stationery industries are forecast to reach $294.53 billion and $218.12 billion, respectively, by 2030, according to Fortune Business Insights, underlining the continued evolution of one of the world's most essential manufacturing and consumer goods sectors.
The forecasts reflect an industry that continues to evolve through greater investment in sustainable materials, education, changing workplace environments, premium consumer products, and increasingly diversified global supply chains.
While sustainable packaging, speciality papers and responsibly sourced materials continue to underpin growth in the paper market, the stationery sector is expanding at a faster pace as investment in education, hybrid working, creative learning and premium consumer products reshape purchasing behaviour. At the same time, digital technologies, sustainability expectations and supply chain resilience are redefining how organisations source products and build long-term supplier relationships.
Mark Palmer, Show Director, Paperworld Middle East, said: “The paper and stationery industries are becoming more international, more specialised and increasingly interconnected. That makes face-to-face sourcing and relationship building more valuable than ever. Paperworld Middle East brings the global market together at exactly the point buyers are planning future purchasing strategies, giving them access to new suppliers, product innovation and commercial partnerships in one place.”
Reflecting the diversity of the industry, Paperworld Middle East will showcase products and solutions including stationery supplies, office products, school supplies, teaching and learning materials, digital stationery, hobby, craft and art materials, and paper processing machinery.
Headline exhibitors for the 2026 edition represent leading manufacturing hubs and regional markets, including Vietnam’s Thien Long Group Corporation, a major stationery manufacturer holding over 60% of its domestic market with popular brands such as FlexOffice; India’s respected pen manufacturer Hamilton Writing Instruments, which supplies everyday ballpoints, technical pens, and art supplies; Dubai-based distributor GiGiS International, operating across 30 countries with accessible stationery and household tools; and Ittihad Paper Mill, the GCC’s first and largest printing and writing paper mill, producing high-volume newsprint and offset paper.
Abdullah Al Khateeb, Managing Director of Ittihad Paper Mill (IPM), said: “The paper industry continues to demonstrate resilience, supported by regional manufacturing investment, responsible production and increasingly diversified supply chains. As a UAE manufacturer, we're seeing strong opportunities to supply customers across the Middle East while continuing to expand into international export markets.
“Paperworld Middle East provides an important platform to connect directly with buyers, strengthen existing partnerships and showcase the quality and innovation of products manufactured in the region.”
Alongside its international and regional exhibitor line-up, Paperworld Middle East will offer interactive experiences designed to deepen product discovery and industry engagement. The Artistry Workshop will bring together professional artists, leading brands and visitors through live creative sessions exploring a range of materials, techniques and product innovations. Highlight sessions include an Introduction to Geometric Kufic Calligraphy workshop led by Elif Hale Gökçen of the School of Calligraphy & Ornamentation, an artist dedicated to the classical tradition of Arabic script. -TradeArabia News Service
