Saudi Arabia is accelerating the delivery of strategic development projects in the Jazan region as part of its Vision 2030 agenda, with authorities overseeing 38 projects aimed at boosting infrastructure, investment and quality of life.
The Jazan Region Development Strategic Office, operating under the supervision of Jazan Governor Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Mohammed bin Abdulaziz, is coordinating the implementation of projects across multiple sectors to improve execution efficiency and ensure timely delivery, reported SPA.
The Office carried out more than 200 site inspections to monitor construction progress, resolve implementation challenges and support government agencies responsible for project delivery.
The projects overseen by the office constitute a key pillar in enhancing quality of life by developing services and public facilities and improving the efficiency of cities and governorates, in line with the region's population and economic growth.
The Jazan Region Development Strategic Office continues to advance comprehensive development goals in co-operation with relevant entities to ensure integrated efforts and accelerate project implementation.
The authorities also help maximise their developmental impact, supporting the local economy and reinforcing Jazan's position as one of Saudi Arabia's most promising regions for investment and development.
The projects are designed to modernise infrastructure, manage urban expansion, improve the built environment and encourage private sector participation, while creating a more attractive investment climate for domestic and international investors, it stated.
According to the officials, these initiatives would also enhance public services and facilities, improve the efficiency of cities and governorates, and support the region's growing population and economic activity, stated the SPA report.
The Office will continue working with government entities to accelerate project execution and maximise the economic and social benefits of the developments, supporting Jazan's emergence as one of Saudi Arabia's key investment and growth regions under Vision 2030, it added.
