Minor Hotels has achieved its most successful year to date, with ten of its properties featured in the 2026 Travel + Leisure T+L 500 list of the world’s best hotels—marking a notable increase from the previous year.
This milestone
highlights the strength and global diversity of its portfolio, which spans over
640 hotels across Asia, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and the Americas.
Asia led the
recognition with five Anantara properties.
In Vietnam, Anantara
Hoi An Resort was praised for its tranquil riverside setting and cultural
experiences, while Anantara Quy Nhon Villas stood out for its personalised
service and understated luxury.
Sri Lanka contributed
two winners: Anantara Kalutara Resort, celebrated for its striking design on
architect Geoffrey Bawa’s final project site, and Anantara Peace Haven Tangalle
Resort, noted for its secluded clifftop location and exceptional cuisine.
Anantara Kihavah
Maldives Villas was also honored for its iconic overwater villas and unique
underwater dining.
In the Middle East and
Africa, Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort was recognised for bringing resort-style
serenity to an urban setting, while Kilindi Zanzibar earned acclaim as one of
East Africa’s most romantic boutique retreats.
In South America,
Tivoli Mofarrej SĂŁo Paulo Hotel reinforced its reputation as a leading luxury
urban hotel.
Europe’s contributions
included two standout Italian properties: Anantara Convento di Amalfi Grand
Hotel, a restored 13th-century monastery on the Amalfi Coast, and Anantara
Palazzo Naiadi Rome Hotel, a historic landmark overlooking Piazza della
Repubblica.
“To see ten of our
properties recognised in the T+L 500 underlines the scale and quality of our
global luxury portfolio,” said Dillip Rajakarier, Group CEO of Minor
International, the parent company of Minor Hotels. “It reflects the breadth of
what we’re doing in luxury today, and the consistency with which those
experiences are resonating with guests across our brands and regions.” -TradeArabia News Service
