InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has introduced Noted Collection, a new premium collection brand aimed primarily at converting upscale and upper-upscale independent hotels into IHG’s global system.
Early discussions are already
underway with several hotel owners, including multi-property operators.
The brand is designed to enhance
the performance of high-quality, distinctive hotels by leveraging IHG’s
enterprise platform, including advanced revenue management, distribution and
technology systems, as well as access to more than 160 million IHG One Rewards
members.
IHG estimates that many of the
2.3 million independent rooms worldwide in these segments could benefit from
joining its network and expects Noted Collection to grow to more than 150
hotels globally over the next decade.
As IHG’s 21st brand—and the 11th
launched in the past 11 years—Noted Collection will sit within its premium
portfolio alongside Crowne Plaza, voco and Ruby, complementing brands such as
Hotel Indigo and Vignette Collection.
Rolling out first in the Europe,
Middle East, Asia and Africa region, the brand will feature hotels defined by
distinctive design, curated experiences and warm, conversational service that
fosters meaningful guest connections.
Elie Maalouf, Chief
Executive Officer, IHG Hotels & Resorts, said: “We’re very excited to bring
Noted Collection to market, which complements our existing premium brands and
builds on the success of Vignette Collection in Luxury & Lifestyle and our
fast-growing conversion brands like voco and Garner. There is strong appetite
from owners of high-quality, one-of- a-kind hotels ready to join the power of
our platforms and expertise, and Noted Collection offers them a distinctive and
attractive brand with a gateway to stronger performance.”
Maalouf added: “Last
year we acquired urban lifestyle brand Ruby for must-visit city break
destinations and Noted Collection’s arrival underlines our continued commitment
to invest in a powerful premium portfolio that meets evolving guest and hotel
owner needs. Noted Collection will allow guests around the world to enjoy even
more choice and new experiences with the trust of True Hospitality that comes
with every stay at an IHG hotel.” -TradeArabia News Service
