OMEGA boutique in The Dubai Mall recently hosted a special, immersive experience where customers were given a chance to journey through the history of OMEGA's timekeeping legacy with the Olympics over the last 90 years.
A section of the boutique was transformed to capture the heritage of the brand with the Olympics, as it took the customer through a story-telling experience via historic pictures along with actual displays of some of the more modern timekeeping tools, including those being used at the Winter Olympics Milano Cortina 2026, that is currently taking place in Italy.
While the exhibition also showcased some of the earlier classic OMEGA watches associated with the Olympics in the past, the highlight of the event was the reveal of three special OMEGA watches for the Milano Cortina - the OMEGA Seamaster 37 mm Milano Cortina, the OMEGA Speedmaster 38 mm Milano Cortina and the OMEGA Seamaster Diver 300M.
The Olympic connection in the OMEGA Seamaster 37 mm is celebrated through a commemorative medallion on the polished caseback featuring the Milano Cortina 2026 emblem, while the winter-infused OMEGA Speedmaster 38 mm is a sporty tribute to Milano Cortina 2026, crafted with the white varnished dial which has been overlaid with a light blue frosting. A finger trace then runs through the frosting, creating a pattern inspired by the “26” of the Milano Cortina 2026 emblem.
The OMEGA Seamaster Diver 300M delivers a unique and wintry style, honouring this year’s sporting precision on ice and snow. Presented on a white rubber strap, the watch is crafted in white ceramic and grade 5 titanium – combining sleek beauty with lightweight strength. A final Olympic homage is presented on the grade 5 titanium caseback, where OMEGA has placed a stamped Milano Cortina 2026 emblem.
OMEGA's experience as the Official Timekeeper of the Olympics Games now spans 32 editions across the globe since 1932 with OMEGA once again taking its place at the venues of these Olympics Winter Games, to be part of another history-making occasion. - TradeArabia News Service
