Visit Qatar is inviting GCC visitors to experience Ramadan in Qatar through a nationwide programme of cultural, culinary, sporting and family events showcased on Qatar Calendar. The Ramadan edition features activities across the country celebrating heritage, togetherness and community spirit.
Highlights include the Throwback Food Festival at Old Doha Port, running from 16 February until the end of Ramadan, offering nostalgic cuisine from the 1970s to 1990s.

Heenat Salma at Heenat Salma Farm presents workshops, artisan markets, performances,
wellness sessions, stargazing and Garangao festivities in an outdoor setting
rooted in tradition and sustainability.
Msheireb Downtown Doha hosts Barahat Ramadan Nights and Layali Msheireb, blending modern design with traditional iftar and suhoor experiences.
The Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs will deliver “Noor Ramadan Lectures” at Katara Cultural Village, while Darb Al Saai showcases Qatari heritage through crafts and folk traditions.
Garangao celebrations will take place at venues including Souq Waqif, The Pearl
Island and Old Doha Port.
Shopping events range from the Hayyi Ramadan Trade Fair to the Pearl Ramadan Bazaar and Ramadan Nights at Lagoona Mall.
Major sporting events include the Qatar ExxonMobil Open 2026, CHI Al Shaqab presented by Longines and fixtures at Lusail International Circuit.
Museums nationwide will also stage exhibitions throughout the Holy
Month.
