Sustainability Forum Middle East (SFME) kicked off its new Sustainability Future Lab university challenge for students in the Kingdom of Bahrain that will challenge them to develop innovative solutions for real-world sustainability problems over the coming week.
The event, powered by KPMG Bahrain and supported by the Supreme Council for Environment, forms an integral part of SFME’s 4th edition that runs from January 27 to 28 at the Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay.
The university challenge was launched at the Reboot Coding Institute in the presence of more than 62 students and 20 mentors alongside partners, judges and organisers, said SFME in a statement.
The initiative reflects the Forum’s commitment to strengthening youth participation in sustainability leadership and aligns with Bahrain’s national priorities and global climate commitments, it added.-TradeArabia News Service
