Club Med, all-inclusive holiday club concept, in collaboration with Oman Tourism Development Company (Omran Group), has unveiled the design of its new resort in Musandam region during the prestigious International Hospitality Investment Forum (IHIF) in Berlin.
The Club Med Musandam Resort will boast 300 well-designed rooms, inspired by Omani architecture and natural elements, wellness retreats as well as a wide array of adventure activities, from sea excursions to mountain exploration.
Nestled between the towering sea cliffs and clear turquoise waters of Musandam, the all-inclusive resort is set to become a landmark destination in the Middle East - offering a seamless blend of luxury, wellness, outdoor adventure, and immersive Omani culture, said a statement from Club Med.
Founded in 1950 by Gérard Blitz, Club Med today is the world’s leading provider of upscale, all-inclusive holiday packages with a French touch for families and active individuals with presence in 40 countries around the world.
Marking Club Med’s debut in the Middle East, the all-inclusive resort will feature sustainable luxury, integrating eco-conscious design with locally sourced materials and panoramic views as well as world-class dining, infused with rich Middle Eastern flavours, it stated.
"The visionary design, led by award-winning architecture firm AW² – known for iconic projects like Banyan Tree AlUla – thoughtfully merges tradition with innovation, creating a resort experience that’s both rooted in heritage and globally sophisticated," said a company spokesman.
Beyond redefining the luxury holiday experience, Club Med Musandam is expected to generate over 1,000 new jobs, supporting local communities and contributing to Oman’s growing reputation as a premier destination for upscale, sustainable tourism. It is slated to open by 2028, he added.-TradeArabia News Service
