Bahrain King orders speedy delivery of 50,000 new homes

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has ordered the fast-tracking of residential projects in the Kingdom of Bahrain to deliver 50,000 new units and enhance public services to meet citizens’ needs, said a report. 
 
The housing directive came as His Majesty yesterday (March 19) received well-wishers from across the kingdom’s governorates at Sakhir Palace, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, reported BNA. 
 
The meeting reflects His Majesty’s commitment to engaging with the people of Bahrain during the holy month of Ramadan.
 
The gathering commenced with a recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by a speech from His Majesty. 
 
The King extended warm greetings on the occasion of the last 10 days of Ramadan, wishing for divine blessings and prosperity for the Arab and Islamic nations. 
 
He reflected on the countless blessings granted to Bahrain, emphasising gratitude for the country’s security, stability, and unity.   
 
His Majesty highlighted Bahrain’s commitment to prosperity, tolerance, and coexistence, reaffirming national pride in its achievements. 
 
He also celebrated the recent launch of the Bahraini satellite “Al Munther”, recognising it as a milestone in the Kingdom’s scientific progress and a testament to the capabilities of Bahraini youth. 
 
His Majesty encouraged further investment in young talents and urged institutions to support innovation and technological advancement, said the BNA report.    
 
The King emphasised the importance of sustaining progress in key sectors, particularly education and healthcare, as fundamental pillars of national development, it added.
