Bahrain seeks bids for Manama Harbour tourism project

Bahrain Tourism & Exhibition Authority (BTEA) is seeking qualified developers for setting up a major tourist attraction in Manama Harbour with a host of food and beverage (F&B), leisure and entertainment facilities.
This will be done through an auction where the developers will get an opportunity to lease a prime plot in block 346.
The project scope for the winning bidder includes design and construction as well as operation and management of the key development for a 25-year period.
The last date for submitting the bids has been set at January 26.
The BTEA move comes in line with its plan to create a new unique tourism destination in Bahrain with a wide range of amenities.
Its key highlights are an Entertainment hub, Seafood-focused F&B, retail/markets and waterfront promenade as well as ample space for greenery and car park.-TradeArabia News Service
