New desert dining, entertainment destination opens in Dubai

Arabian Adventures, a part of the Emirates Group, has announced the opening of a new desert dining and multi-experience destination, The Fort – Lisaili, in Dubai, offering travellers a ‘taste’ of the Arabian desert. 
 
Designed by the team at Arabian Adventures, The Fort – Lisaili is a new camp featuring multiple desert lounges. It is located next to the well-known Hidden Café and a replica fort structure at the base of a row of impressive sand dunes, popular with UAE residents for sunset viewing. 
 
With this dramatic backdrop, the location has been enhanced to create a new desert destination offering activities for a range of audiences.
 
Alaa AlKhatib, Vice President of Destination Management at the dnata Travel Group, said: "The Fort – Lisaili marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Arabian Adventures and the Dubai desert’s entertainment landscape."
 
"It is designed to offer a customisable experience, where visitors can explore the beauty of the desert on their own terms. Our vision is to create an exciting and unique ‘desert destination’ with a diverse range of activities, attractions and events, creating a memorable experience for both Dubai residents and tourists," he stated.
 
A leading destination management company, tour, and safari operator in UAE, Arabian Adventures said the Fort – Lisaili is open to guests of all ages and complimentary parking is also available across the site.
 
A host of activities including henna hand painting, family-friendly games, camel rides, live entertainment, a BBQ buffet dinner, and soft drinks are included in the entrance fee, it stated.
 
"The entry fee includes a BBQ buffet dinner, soft beverages, live entertainment (fire show), camel rides, henna hand painting, and family-friendly games such as archery on the dunes. The cost is AED100 ($27.2) per person for self-drive guests or AED175 ($47.6) with shared transfers," noted AlKhatib. 
 
Additional activities available for a fee include photography services, souvenir shops, quad bike rides, dune buggy rides, an Aperol Spritz sunset lounge with fully stocked bar, an additional bar and Shisha lounge, he added.-TradeArabia News Service
