Volkswagen launches new Tiguan in GCC

Volkswagen has launched the all-new Tiguan in the GCC, marking the debut of the third generation of this iconic bestseller. The 
 
Tiguan has become one of Volkswagen’s most successful models globally, with over 7.6 million units sold since its introduction in 2007. The new model will be available in dealerships as early as September, featuring the 1.4L TSI engine and 2.0L TSI engine by the end of the year.

Cutting-edge tech

The sleekly designed Digital Cockpit Pro seamlessly delivers top-tier information and integrates digital services and apps, supported by a user-friendly operating concept that ensures intuitive interactions. 
 
Innovations such as the pneumatic massage function for the front seats and the IQ. LIGHT HD matrix headlights, inspired by the premium Touareg model, elevate the all-new Tiguan’s appeal, while the new adaptive chassis control Pro enhances both comfort and performance, and the latest Park Assist system automates parking manoeuvres.
 
This latest model represents a leap forward in design, technology, and comfort, enhancing every aspect of the driving experience. With significant upgrades across the board, the all-new Tiguan sets a new standard in the SUV market, showcasing Volkswagen’s commitment to innovation and excellence.
 
Expressive new design 
The new Tiguan boasts a completely new design with a modern, sophisticated look. The front of the vehicle features flat LED headlights, an illuminated strip, and a new grille and bumper. The rear design is equally impressive, with a horizontal light bar, new wheel designs, and increased boot space.
 
The Tiguan is available in three new vibrant colours: Cypress Green, Oyster Silver, and Persimmon Red, along with five metallic paint options. The compact SUV’s expressive design and improved aerodynamics are highlighted by a powerful front look with flat LED headlights, a glass-covered horizontal strip, and optimised air routing through the redesigned radiator grille openings.
 
It features the newly developed IQ. LIGHT HD matrix headlights, inspired by the advanced design used in the premium-class Touareg. These High Definition (HD) headlights utilise 38,400 multipixel LEDs (19,200 per headlight) to illuminate the road and surrounding area, significantly enhancing comfort and safety.
 
New cockpit and infotainment system generation
The interior of the Tiguan features a completely new concept and design. It stands out with its high-quality material and craftsmanship. In addition, the new cockpit landscape is intuitive to use, closely integrated, and has a clean and smart design. 
 
The modules include the new Digital Cockpit Pro (digital instruments with anti-reflective coating in tablet landscape format), a 15-inch infotainment screen and a redesigned menu structure and graphics, as well as a new head-up display, which projects the speed and other notifications on to the windscreen. 
 
A new touch control dial in the centre console with integrated OLED display can be used to select the ‘atmosphere’ in the all-new Tiguan. Individual driving profiles can be set with preferred ambient light, playlist and temperature offset. One can also control the drive modes and radio volume with this new central command element.
 
Electronically controlled running gear 
Volkswagen has enhanced the Tiguan with electronically controlled running gear for improved convenience and dynamics. The optional adaptive chassis controlPro controls the functions of the electronic differential locks and the lateral dynamics components of the shock absorber. It adjusts braking and shock absorber hardness for greater comfort, stability, agility, and precision during dynamic cornering and enhances the ride quality to a new level.
