ASRY showcases key expertise at Saudi logistics expo

The Arab Shipbuilding and Repair Yard Company (ASRY), the leading ship and rig repair yard in the Arabian Gulf, has concluded its participation in the fifth edition of the Saudi Maritime & Logistics Congress 2024.
The event was held in Dhahran Expo, Dammam, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from September 18 to 19.
This conference is one of the largest regional gatherings of industry professionals in the maritime, shipping, and logistics sectors. It features a group of prominent speakers from industry leaders at both regional and international levels.
"The Saudi Maritime Congress serves as a gateway to the marine assets market in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the wider region," remarked Wael Mirza, The Strategic Development Manager at ASRY.
Founded in 1977 in the Kingdom of Bahrain, ASRY is the Arabian Gulf’s most experienced maritime repair and fabrication facility.
Its leading range of facilities includes a 500 K dwt dry-dock, two floating docks of 252m and 227m in length, 15 repair berths with a total length of approximately 5,000m, twin 255m slipways, and a full range of workshops and service centres.

According to him, the conference focuses on the significant advancements in the maritime and energy sectors in the region, highlighting key developments, innovations, and investments that will shape the future of these industries.
An exhibition featuring over 200 maritime and logistics companies was also held in parallel to the event, with the participation of global industry leaders in the regional and global maritime, logistics and oil & gas sectors, it added.-TradeArabia News Service
