BisB launches innovative competition marking National Day

Bahrain Islamic Bank (BisB), the leading bank in providing digital financial solutions in Bahrain, recently announced the launch of BisB’s Outstanding Achievements Award. It aims at celebrating pioneering Bahrainis with distinguished achievements across various fields. The winners will be selected according to predefined criteria and a specialised jury. 
 
A promotional video has been launched through the bank’s official social media channels explaining the nation-wide competition’s concept, participation methodology, and requirements. 
 
The competition is open to all Bahrainis of different age groups, and entries can be submitted directly through the bank’s website www.bisb.com up until the end of this month. Two lucky winners will be announced in January 2023 and receive a cash prize of BD5,000 ($13,263).  
 
51st National Day
Yaser Al Sharifi, Chief Executive Officer of BisB, said: “This unique and exciting initiative coincides with the kingdom’s celebrations of the 51st National Day. The competition will enable us to recognise Bahraini pioneers with exceptional talents and achievements that have excelled as leaders in their various fields. Accordingly, we invite all Bahraini citizens to participate in this unique competition and wish everyone the best of luck.” 
 
The categories outlined as part of the competition include: innovative and pioneering ideas, distinctive projects, record-breaking achievements, and obtaining an accredited educational certificate or qualification in a prestigious field of study. 
 
The initiative seeks to celebrate Bahraini talent, highlighting collective achievements on a regional and global level. It also reinforces BisB’s commitment to consistently adopting key environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) initiatives,  thereby encouraging the adoption of an ESG framework in the industry.-- TradeArabia News Service
