Bahrain to host SmartSec conference in September

A major conference highlighting the most important issues related to cybercrime, information security, cybersecurity, Blockchain technology, will be held in September.
The second edition of SmartSec conference and exhibition will be held from September 3 to 5 at Gulf convention center.
Dr Abdulhussain bin Ali Mirza, Minister of Electricity and Water Affairs is extending his patronage to SmartSec. SmartSec is jointly organized by Bahrain Technology Companies Societies (BTECH) and WorkSmart for Event Management.
It also focuses on how to localize the latest global applications in the field of ICT security to meet the needs of public and private sector institutions in Bahrain, said a statement.
The conference will be attended by several speakers in the field of information security from Bahrain and the world. It will feature a variety of technology-related workshops, carefully thought-out solutions, and an exhibition offering global solutions to information security.
On the sidelines, an exhibition will attract companies offering its solutions in information security, cybersecurity and blockchain.
The list of participants in the conference and the exhibition includes representatives from ministries, government institutions as well as private sector institutions. –TradeArabia News Service
