Solidarity Bahrain, one of the largest insurance companies in Bahrain and a subsidiary of Solidarity Group Holding, has officially launched its pioneering mobile application ‘Solidarity Drive’ during a Press conference held yesterday at the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF).
This innovative platform is set to be the first of its kind in the kingdom. The Press conference was attended by officials from the General Directorate of Traffic, Central Bank of Bahrain, and other prominent figures.
The new initiative aims to encourage safer driving behaviour and enhance road safety across Bahrain. Users of Solidarity Drive will enjoy a range of exclusive benefits and rewards, including weekly rewards, annual discounts on motor insurance.
Drivers can also earn points based on their driving habits, which is tracked in real-time using the app. These behaviours include observing speed limits, smooth braking, cautious turning, and avoiding mobile phone use while driving.
Solidarity has also announced the launch of the ‘Solidarity Drive Challenge,’ which will run for three months.
All citizens who meet the eligibility criteria are invited to participate. At the end of the challenge, a raffle will take place, offering committed drivers the chance to win exciting prizes, including two Skoda cars, a trip for two to London, and an iPhone 16 Pro.
Commenting on the launch, Solidarity Bahrain chief executive Jawad Mohammed, said: “Driven by our commitment to social responsibility, we are excited to announce the launch of the Solidarity Drive initiative. This innovative application aims to enhance driving standards and ensure the safety of both citizens and residents in Bahrain. Today, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the General Directorate of Traffic and the Central Bank of Bahrain for their unwavering support of private sector initiatives, particularly Solidarity Bahrain.”
He added: “In today’s fast-paced digital era, we are excited to introduce an innovative app that leverages advanced technology to encourage responsible driving practices, offering users a host of exclusive benefits and rewards. We aim to create a culture of safety on the roads, encouraging everyone to adopt behaviours that protect themselves and others.”
This initiative demonstrates the recent collaboration between Solidarity Bahrain and Vitality Drive International, a unique incentive-based driver behaviour programme, aimed at creating real value for road users and making a positive impact on the Bahraini community.
The launch of Solidarity Drive reaffirms Solidarity Bahrain’s leadership in innovation and its unwavering dedication to social responsibility, as it works towards creating safer roads for everyone in the kingdom.
